Getting Here and Around

The area around ulitsa Tverskaya can be reached through the Tverskaya, Pushkinskaya, Chekhovskaya, Mayakovskaya, and Okhotny Ryad metro stations. Once here, unless you're traveling north all the way to Belorusskaya metro station, which sits at the north end of ulitsa Tverskaya-Yamskaya past the Garden Ring, you're best off walking the web of streets in this neighborhood. The distances can be long at times, but other transportation options—with the exception of a car—aren’t convenient for moving around here.

Timing

If you stay in Moscow for more than a few days you’ll always end up on or near ulitsa Tverskaya. Consider spending half a day if you'd like to visit the museums in this neighborhood.
